The Kamloops Symphony Orchestra says it will add more programming to grow its musical offerings.
New additions to the programming this year include children’s concerts and small chamber ensemble concerts.
They are grateful to see the demand for musical experiences growing and are excited to offer these experiences to the community.
Offer new music programs for kids
They also spoke about the new music programs they are offering for children of all ages,
which they attribute to the orchestra’s space in Kelson Hall. They say their goal is to make music accessible to all ages,
and they are working to provide the musical experiences that children and classical music lovers want. As the Kamloops Symphony Orchestra grows,
they will offer programming at the upcoming Performing Arts Centre.
A new 1100-seat performing arts center
They said the new Performing Arts Centre will increase access and create more opportunities for the community.
The 1100-seat theatre will allow them to lower ticket prices to make it more affordable for people.
