The first recording under the baton of Natalie Stutzman,
who begins her third season as music director of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra,
will feature Dvorak’s Ninth Symphony “From the New World” and the American Suite.
Break from tradition and record without an audience
Performed from a live album recording at a tour concert in New York City in November,
this album departs from tradition for the American symphony orchestra,
where the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra usually records with audiences on Thursday and Saturday and without audiences on Friday.
This is the orchestra’s first recording under Natalie Stutzman’s baton, and will further cement the orchestra’s reputation.
